Hope to meet you at the conference. I'm out of town on a trip that can't be changed, so I won't be able to attend...enjoy it for me, if you find that you're too overwhelmed to enjoy it yourself!

p.s. Be bold and introduce yourself to people--it's important to network at all writers' conferences, no matter the size. And I found it handy to have my business card on hand to give to people I met. It saves scribbling out e-mail addresses and contact info on scraps of paper over and over. You probably have one already, but if you don't, you can get a simple "calling card" type made el-cheapo at Officemax's copy service. They're handy to have all the time, to give to someone you meet at the playground or homeschool co-op or whatever.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3431474601176183548.post-33008136936672595262008-05-31T07:19:00.000-04:002008-05-31T07:19:00.000-04:00Hey- thanks for the book suggestion- I plan on tak...Hey- thanks for the book suggestion- I plan on taking you up on it.

Have fun at the conference!Marlohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15717232692560885882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3431474601176183548.post-16777751109785251942008-05-29T22:50:00.000-04:002008-05-29T22:50:00.000-04:00I love your goal!
